Enebakk Municipality is responsible for welfare and technical services to the inhabitants. This includes services such as day care facilities, child welfare, and primary and lower secondary schools, primary health care, financial support for welfare clients and care for the elderly and disabled. Its responsibilities also include public library, local museum, fire department, municipal roads, sewage, garbage collection and disposal, as well as organization of land use.
Enebakk Municipality has approximately 600 employees, most within the health and educational sectors. Enebakk is situated in the County of Akershus in the eastern part of Norway. The municipality has approximately 10 000 inhabitants.
